How to Create a User State Migration Tool Package In SCCM 2012

    Create USMT Package in SCCM 2012

    Create USMT package ConfigMgr 2012

You can follow below steps to create your User State Migration Tool (USMT) Package.
ON SCCM installed system USMT Source files will be exists by default, this will be during System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Setup and is Part of Windows Automated Installation Kit (ADK / WAIK).

Open ADK installed Folder path

In my case it is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Assessment and Deployment Kit\User State Migration Tool

Fill the Package creation steps as shown below

Browse the source and show the USMT souce, in my case it is is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Assessment and Deployment Kit\User State Migration Tool as ADK was installed in C Drive.

You no need to create any Program. So choose Do not create a program option

Click next to review the Summary and next to complete the wizard

Once package is created you can Distribute the package to required OSD USMT target DP’s.
